Where did the inspiration for your business come from?
Our goal when we created Lia Reese Canada, was to positively influence and remind our customers and friends that beauty can be so much more than physical. We believe that creating a positive impact is beautiful. How we have created that impact, is by finding the beauty in giving. At LRC we support countless programs, charities, fundraisers and causes around Saskatchewan and Alberta. As we further grow our brand across Canada, we hope to continue to impact our country through both time and sharing awareness. Even more so, through our donations made from the sales of many of our products.
What is the best part of what I do and why?
The absolute best parts of what I get to do each day, are creating long term, fulfilling careers. Careers that are filled with amazing opportunities while making amazing memories and to see the impact we are creating in our community! Whether it’s the women in the women’s shelters we provide supplies, or the houses we helped build with Habitat for Humanity, or the incredible funds we raise for multiple charities. It warms our hearts knowing each and every day we are creating products for so many beautiful souls and we are also positively changing lives!
On paper, I had everything against me, but it was my will and dedication to a better life that helped me take small steps each day, that lead to my dreams coming true.

Why is community important to you?
I feel it is important to give back to all of the community programs that supported myself & my family for so many years during our struggles and hard times. It was because of amazing programs and the kind hearts of others that I’m able to do what I do today. Therefore, it is my responsibility to give back as often as I can, to make as big of an impact as I can, to say thank you, and to remind others that you can truly make a difference in someone else’s life!
What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
My advice is to truly believe in yourself. Even when no one else does. On paper, I had everything against me, but it was my will and dedication to a better life that helped me take small steps each day, that lead to my dreams coming true. I took educated risks and trusted my gut. I found strong support systems around me. I asked a TON of questions, asked for help all the time, and learned from those in my industry that were leading the way. I believed I could do something special and made detailed plans to reach my short term, and ultimately my long-term goals.
